The US has had a large decrease in education over the past few years. The US is starting to fall behind other competing Countries. According to the Association Press, "Among adults age 25 to 34, the U.S. is ninth among industrialized nations in the share of its population that has at least a high school degree". The United States is one of the top in "knowledge economy" which means the US uses education to stimulate economic benefits. The US pays the second highest amount of money per student for education, but still remains to be declining in the long run.
