This shows how increasing ones education will lead to an increase in earnings. The importance of this graph is to show that Education is required to be successful. People that deprived themselves from education are ultimately depriving themselves from many things. If education wasn't important, then why do people try to embed the concept into your head. New jobs are still being formed and advanced education is required. Thus, education is neccessary for success.
